AWFNJ Intern - Telecommuting Opportunity, tri-state area resident preferred
The AWFNJ is seeking an intern for an 8-12 hour weekly commitment for a 2-month, unpaid summer internship (with the possibility to extend through the fall). Intern will be responsible for helping with program coordination, distribution of materials, event planning, and general projects designed to further the mission and purpose of the AWFNJ, which is to unite all New Jersey animal protection organizations, to exchange ideas and information to work collectively to elevate the standard of care and level of knowledge related to animal welfare in the state of New Jersey. Most of the job can be performed remotely but because there will be NJ events, the applicant should be within reasonable driving distance. Treasurer - New Jersey
The Animal Welfare Federation of New Jersey is seeking a volunteer treasurer for its Board of Directors. This position requires financial experience (with a nonprofit is a plus), proficiency with Quickbooks and the ability to attend bi-monthly meetings in various NJ locations.  The treasurer would be responsible for managing the AWFNJ’s finances and creating and overseeing our annual budget. Bookkeeper - New Jersey
The Animal Welfare Federation of New Jersey is seeking a volunteer book keeper to work with its treasurer. This position requires financial experience (with a nonprofit is a plus) and proficiency with Quickbooks.  The bookkepper would be responsible for reconciling our accounts,  paying bills, managing our budget and other duties as required by the treasurer. This position, which can primarily be performed remotely, requires a commitment of about 8-10 hours a month. Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator that will be responsible for developing and implementing all volunteer and foster programs. In general will be working with the staff in planning, developing, & supervising a meaningful and productive program.
